PATNA:
K C Saha, a 1975-batch IAS official, has been appointed new chairman of
the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). He replaces R J M Pillai
whose tenure ended on Tuesday.A silent performer, Saha while in the IAS last served as development commissioner. There were reports of his proposed elevation as chief secretary but the government appointed his batch-mate Navin Kumar on the top IAS post in the state. Scheduled to retire in 2013, Saha applied for voluntary retirement citing personal reasons. He retired from IAS on Tuesday.
